EIP-Agri-Project 2020-2023

EIP-Agri

The KUHproKLIMA project is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

Objectives of EIP-Agri

  • Strengthening the transfer of information and knowledge between practice and science

  • Promoting innovation in order to reduce the financial risk of implementing new ideas and projects

  • Improving interaction between science and practice

Operational Groups

Operational Group (OG) is the name of the working units for these innovative projects. They consist of at least three actors (farmer, research institution and another project partner, e.g. from consulting and industry). The heterogeneous composition promotes the exchange between practitioners and researchers and helps to ensure that product and process innovations are put into practice more quickly.

In the OG, products, procedures, processes and technologies in the agricultural and food sector are to be newly developed or further developed. The projects focus on climate change, bioeconomy, resource conservation, digitisation or animal welfare.

For the KUHproKLIMA project, the "OG-Grünland" was therefore founded in 2019 especially for this purpose.
